Volair is a Spanglish mix of the worlds “volare” (fly) and “air”. The player of the arcade game “Volair” is given the following picture: a piece of sky and a funny paper airplane that you have to guide between the clouds trying to reach the highest point ever possible. On the picture they´re ascending arrows of red color that contain hot air, and descending arrows of blue color that slow down the speed with their cold air. You should travel with the airplane collecting those arrows while your final objective is to reach the space before game over. For every task executed you get a certain money credit. Whenever you make some money you may enter the shop and spend it upgrading the airplane – get new wings making it easier for your plane to maneuver during the game or purchase new rockets to increase the lift. Then there's also a section for bets. It's a kind of deal that you can get money for if you complete the whole task under the arranged conditions. For instance, you may promise reaching a height without hitting cold air that would help you to earn $40 extra. In the very bottom of the screen all your records are displayed: the number of collected blue and red arrows, the purchased upgrades, the total distance of your way measured in feet.

The player of this free arcade game has to drag the mouse without dropping in order to help the airplane reach the height. But keep in mind that it's always better to avoid the arrows with cold air because they decelerate your movement. In case you want to pause the game just press “P”.
